Hold Up! 等等 Café
Tucked in the heart of Georgetown, this new cozy, chic and minimalist café is a perfect spot for your after-meal coffee or afternoon sips. Be greeted with fragrant coffee scent when you enter. Also known as a coffee bar, the Hold Up! Café serves only coffee or tea.
This café is managed by two entrepreneurs – Penny & Kah Ming. We were informed by Penny that the partner – Kah Ming is a coffee lover.

Out of Nowhere (Hidden Bar)
This bar is hidden right inside the Hold Up! Café. The entrance to the bar is located in the café itself. Hint: Look for an orange door!
When in Hold Up! Café, always be on the lookout for the Out Of Nowhere logo which will lead you to this hidden speakeasy bar.
OON (Out of Nowhere) is named with an urge to implement a sense of mystery and curiosity into the whole concept where you can have a sip of your favourite cocktails out of nowhere! The logo is derived from the runic alphabets that resemble the letter OON (Out Of Nowhere).
This place serves great and unique cocktails and you can even tell the bartenders your preferences and they will make the cocktail off the menu just for you!
“Our ambience is chilled as we’re hidden away from the bustle of George Town but our cocktails are based on Penang nostalgia, as the space used to be a hotel called Nostalgia Inn,” explains Poon – the bartender consultant, during an interview. “We started out with a small menu concept, which is fairly out of the norm in Penang. We’ll introduce new things from time to time to keep things fresh and interesting.” Poon adds.
