No expense is spared at the newly renovated Hard Rock Hotel Bali in making sure that every guest has a rockin’ stay

When in Bali, stay in Kuta. When in Kuta, stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Bali. The hotel has been a landmark in Kuta for 20 years, and has recently completed the first phase of a US$10 million refurbishment project.

Directly facing Kuta Beach, with an enchanting sunset view of the ocean, the Hard Rock Hotel Bali sprawls across three and a half hectares of lush tropical land. It was the first Hard Rock Hotel in Asia, and even though it has the grand scale of a 418-room hotel, the service remains personal. In the spirit of Hard Rock Hotels around the world, every guest is treated like a rock star.

The loft room comes with a mezzanine, and is perfect for three adults or two adults and two children
There is more than enough space in the newly renovated rooms to lounge, relax, or even do some yoga.
Beautiful touches of Balinese details make guests feel right at home.

Even the pillows are specially embroidered with musical elements.
The spacious, modern bathroom comes with a rain shower for an indulgent experience.

The Hard Rock experience is brought to life in the newly renovated rooms. The decor is modern and stylish, with beautiful touches of Balinese details. Take for instance the cabinet doors, which are inspired by traditional batik motifs. Or the mirror frame which also houses the TV. That too, is made of teak with intricate Balinese carvings. And of course, this being Hard Rock Hotel, guests will appreciate the creatively mosaicked patterns of rock legends adorning the walls of the rooms. It’s the perfect backdrop to rock that selfie.

The use of light colours and cool tones creates a relaxed, cosy ambience. Rooms also come with espresso coffee machines and Bluetooth Bose speakers that connect wirelessly to mobile phones so guests can enjoy their own playlists. There is also in room entertainment in the form of complimentary movies on demand, from new Hollywood blockbusters to family friendly animated movies. In other words, everything to help guests plug in and switch off, to enjoy a memorable holiday in true Hard Rock style.

Guests can even check out a Fender guitar to jam in the comfort of their room.

Of course, no Hard Rock experience is complete without music. For that, guests can enjoy the hotel’s signature The Sound of Your Stay programme, which consists of “tracks”, “picks”, and “wax”. “tracks” lets guests download songs from the iTunes store to create a personalised soundtrack for an unforgettable holiday. “picks” helps guests live out their rock star dreams by letting them check out a Fender guitar, amplifier and earphones to jam in the room. For guests who do not know how to play the guitar, they can even learn by watching TV programmes that are available on the hotel channel. Finally, and perhaps our personal favourite, “wax” lets guests check out a Crosley turntable to enjoy in their own room. It comes with a specially curated collection of vinyls, from legends such as the inimitable Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, The Clash, Bob Dylan, ACDC, Journey, Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen, and Miles Davies. There’s something for everyone.

If guests can bring themselves to leave the comfort of the rooms, they have a world to explore, all within the hotel. The array of options is dazzling: have a splashing good time at the free-form pool, the largest in Bali; admire over 700 pieces of rare music memorabilia; rock to live music; or simply relax over a scrumptious meal at the popular Hard Rock Cafe or Jamie’s Italian.

Kids are not left out either. We cover the Hard Rock Roxity Kids Club, along with Rock Spa and Rock Om, and also a very fun Balinese cooking class . Find out more about “Rockin’ Experience here“.
