A’ La Campagne comprises an atmospheric restaurant called Somtum Villa, a cafe aptly named Tea Factory, a lovely little shop selling unique crafts and souvenirs, and an organic farm that supplies most of the vegetable produce and eggs used in the restaurant and cafe.

 

 

 

The restaurant serves authentic Thai cuisine; its somtum salad, an appetising mix of shredded green papaya, fresh chili, garlic, dried shrimp, tomatoes, long beans, peanuts and cashews, coated with a light dressing of palm sugar, fish sauce and lime, is especially refreshing.

The Tea Factory is popular too for its brunch and afternoon tea. Take a sip of the delicately flavoured oolong lychee, indulge in fluffy cinnamon scones served with heavenly strawberry jam and cream, and watch the world go by. C’est la vie!
