15 minutes away by speedboat, the beaches on Koh Larn (also known as Coral Island) is a great day trip you can make from Pattaya. There are a handful of temples and spiritual sites in Pattaya worth visiting, including Khao Chi Chan, or more commonly known as Buddha Mountain. This iconic landmark has a golden Buddha image over 130 metres high laser carved into the face of a mountain cliff. This is the largest carved Buddha image in the world.
