On the eve of Nyepi they will be carried through the streets on bamboo platforms like parade floats. Walking in front of the amazing creatures will be the children with their torches and their smaller ogoh ogoh monsters, followed by the women holding banners and men on drums while others push the heavy gongs on wheels and hit cymbals for the tell-tale sound of the gamelan.
