The Bali Kites Festival is back! This event takes place annually, between July and August due to the windy season in Bali. The festival originally started as a season festival where Balinese thank the gods and heavens for a bountiful harvest. Since then, the festival has turned into a sport where many competing kite teams from all over the island to pilot their kites.
